Emirates Schools Establishment was established based on Federal Decree-Law No. 15 of 2016 issued by the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, which came into effect in January 2021. Department Definition Develop action plans and mechanisms for the department. Support the achievement of departmental objectives by supervising and monitoring the executive tasks as relevant in the action and strategic plans. The main responsibilities for this role include: - Leadership and People Management: Proven skills in coaching, conflict resolution, and team building to support a collaborative and high-performing team environment. - Digital and Modern Learning Platforms: Proficiency in using digital learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and e-learning tools, with experience in blended learning and remote training methods. - Change Management and Organizational Development: Expertise in change management to support organizational transformations and align training programs with culture shifts. - Metrics-Driven Approach: Experience in using training analytics and reporting tools to monitor training effectiveness and adjust strategies based on metrics such as ROI. - Strategic Vision and Innovation: Ability to stay informed on industry trends and implement innovative training methods that build a learning culture within the organization. - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Experience designing and delivering training programs that promote inclusivity, address diverse employee needs, and foster a culturally aware environment. - Budget Management: Strong skills in budgeting and cost management to effectively allocate resources and adjust the training budget as needed. - Professional Network and Partnership Development: Ability to establish relationships with external vendors, consultants, and experts to access new training resources and stay current with best practices. - Develop and maintain an annual training plan and budget, including diverse training programs at various levels, ensuring updates based on training impact assessment. - Prepare and contribute to the development of the department's strategic plan proposal, monitor the implementation of the operational plans to ensure alignment with departmental objectives. - Oversee the measurement of training impact reports, providing recommendations and updates for the annual training plan. - Oversee the analysis of results of training and development operational indicators, along with result of the relevant HR enablers, to develop improvement plan. - Regularly evaluate training centers and institutes to ensure the quality of programs. - Stay informed about best practices in human resources training and development and recommend operational improvements accordingly. - Periodically track performance indicators and prepare progress reports for the Director. - Collaborate with relevant units to assist in preparing the department's budget. - Foster relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the highest standards of service delivery. - Provide necessary support to the Director and complete assigned tasks as needed. - Publish the annual training plan for relevant employees and their line managers through appropriate communication channels. - Develop programs that promote learning and provide training, development, and motivation for teams to ensure high-quality service delivery. - Establish principles and controls to guide operations and enhance productivity.

English Teachers work in teams, led by Lead Teachers, and supported by a Sector Specialist, with each member contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning materials and support for students. English Secondary Teachers are responsible for the successful implementation of English Language Curriculum across grades 1-12 and are required to do the following listed below. The main responsibilities for this role include: - Model and support a learner-centered, hands-on classroom environment that promotes learner engagement and participation. - Ensure that students reach the expected age-related outcomes for English. - Gain an understanding of working with Arab youth who will learn English as a second language. - Create a positive, active, language-rich learning environment. - Support the learning process by identifying needs and guiding students to achieve their learning objectives. - Ensure assessments are delivered according to the assessment strategy and guidelines, in a valid and rigorous manner. - Maintain an accurate record of student achievement and performance. - Create positive and effective relationships with colleagues. - Work extra hours to provide extra-curricular activities. - Travel as required to events, training and provide cover away from their school. - Be smart and always present a positive image of themselves and the English Department. - Integrate with colleagues from different cultures. - Perform all aspects of their role with an understanding of the wider strategy. - Plan effectively and manage their workload. - Gain the confidence and respect of Emirati personnel at all levels.

Japanese Language Teacher Job Description -Schools are on a five-day week in principle from Monday through Friday (Friday is half day.)Each teacher:‐will be teaching secondary school students-will be in charge of a maximum of 15 classes per week.*1 class = 45 minutes x 2 class lessons-must follow the curriculum set forth by UAE Ministry of Education based on the US Common Core.-must provide English taught lessons.-must have IT skills such as to make test forms using application like Microsoft Forms.-must have skills to conduct online lesson-will be appointed as rotating Team Leader among the Japanese language teachers.-may be requested to plan and organize Japanese cultural events-may be requested to correct and edit textbooks In addition to the above assignments, the following educational duties are expected at the assigned school.-Providing alternative classes-Supervising exams-Watching over students getting to and from school and during break between classes-Attending staff meetings and teacher training sessions-Leading students during trips and excursions-Formulating and submitting teaching plans-Other duties that may be deemed necessary
